Business CPA Services for Miami Companies

Running a business in Miami means the financial work never sits still: books to keep current, payroll to run, returns to file in more than one jurisdiction, and decisions that are easier to make when someone has already read the numbers. Levine CPA and Advisors has worked with South Florida business owners since 1984, and we handle that whole picture under one roof. Accounting and bookkeeping month to month, payroll, business tax preparation and planning, entity structuring, and CFO level advice when the business reaches the point of needing it. One team, one set of numbers, and a CPA who knows your business before you call with a question

What a Business CPA Handles

Most owners do not need every service at once. They need the ones that match where the business is right now, and a firm that can add the rest without a handover.

Monthly close, reconciliations and financial statements you can actually use.

Day to day record keeping, categorisation, AP and AR, with CPA review.

Payroll runs, filings and year end forms on schedule.

Federal and Florida filings for C-corps, S-corps, LLCs and partnerships.

A year round view instead of a filing season reaction.

Cash flow, KPIs and planning for the next stage

Forming the business, or restructuring one that has outgrown its setup.

Statements for lenders, investors, landlords and internal use.

Who We Work With
Our business clients range from owner operators with a handful of employees to companies running several entities at once. What they have in common is a point where the financial side stopped being something one person could handle in evenings. That might be a first hire, a second location, a lender asking for statements, a partner buying in or out, or simply a year where the business grew faster than its record keeping. We work with companies across Miami and the surrounding cities, including Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Aventura, Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
Business Tax Preparation and Planning

Business tax work splits into two halves that are easy to confuse. Preparation is the filing itself: the federal return, any state filings the business is subject to, and the reporting that goes with them. Planning is everything that happens before that, while decisions can still change the outcome. We do both, and we do them with the same set of books in front of us, which is the point. Entity type, owner compensation, timing of purchases, multi state activity and the structure of the business all interact, and the conversation is more useful in September than in March.

Accounting, Bookkeeping and Payroll

The monthly work is where most of the value hides. Reconciled accounts, a chart of accounts built around how the business actually earns, statements delivered on a set day each month, and payroll filed on time without the owner thinking about it. When the books are current, everything downstream gets easier: the tax return has no surprises, the lender request takes a day instead of a fortnight, and the question "can we afford this hire" has an answer rather than an opinion. If the books are behind, we clean them up first and say so before starting.

Fractional CFO and Business Advisory

Not every business needs a full time finance chief, and most Miami companies reach the need for the thinking long before the need for the salary. Fractional CFO work gives you a standing monthly review of the numbers, cash flow forecasting, budget versus actual, and a second opinion before money is committed. Because the same firm keeps the books and files the returns, the advice is built on your real figures rather than on a summary someone assembled for the meeting.

Starting or Restructuring a Business in Florida

New businesses come to us for entity choice and formation: what each structure means for taxes, payroll and distributions, what has to be registered, and what the filing calendar looks like once the business exists. Established businesses come to us for the opposite reason, when the structure that made sense five years ago no longer fits the business, the ownership or the plan. Either way it is a conversation before it is paperwork.

I have been a client since 2004. There are too many things to write in the little space allocated. The attention to detail and his knowledge of the tax law which changes often is comforting and one less thing to worry about. The best thing about my experience with Jack is his quick response to my email or call.
